This little Supro amp is my personal favorite from the vintage single ended class A amps.
It has nice clean tones, but where it really shines is from the edge of breakup range upwards. At the crunch and dimed gain levels you are in proper rock territory and the tones are punchy, open and with a good dose of anger.
At the maximung volume settings it goes naturally into wonderful fuzz tones that will rival any fuzz pedal you could throw at any other amp.
As with all the single ended class A amps, they have a very mid focussed, open sound that will sit very upfront in the mix. They give what one could call a “in your face” tone that will cut through with ease.
The set includes 24 full captures that were recorded through the built in Jensen 8″ speaker and the mics used were 2x Royer R121, a Beyerdynamic M160 and a Neumann U87. Please refer to the full list of included captures in the product photo section.

The Amalgam library now contains several great captures of classic Fender amps, but the slightly-obscure Vibroverb might be my favorite.
