The quintessential AC/DC amp for that Angus tone – the 1967 MRSH JT-50 gets a revamp with our V2 of this iconic beauty.
This rare amp has cared out a reputation of being one of the best rock amps ever and has been one of the main references for that genre.
But it does many things beautifully apart from the fantastic crunch tones. It has nice warm cleans with good headroom, it is a wonderful pedal platform amp and can sound REALLY mean with pedals. With good pedals in front it can easily conquer hard rock and even heavier territories.
It has a characteristic bite that even some of the larger MRSH amps don’t achieve, so it has a distinctive and unique vibe going on.
It is essentially a bass spec 1986 model amp, but with a tube rectifier and lower filtering, which gives it a really nice and smooth playing feel and the right amount of compression.

The Amalgam library now contains several great captures of classic Fender amps, but the slightly-obscure Vibroverb might be my favorite.
