The 5F1 Tweed Champ being the budget entry model in Fender’s line-up of the 50’s and early 60’s, one might be surprised by the iconic status this tiny 5W Single Ended amp has achieved.

It has been featured in countless records and is one of the most recorded amps ever. Clapton, Rolling Stones, Joe Walsh, Joe Perry and countless others have paved its road to the iconic status it now posses.

Miced up you might be in for a surprise how big and raunchy this amp can sound despite its puny dimensions and power rating. From clean(ish) to crunch and all the way to fuzz – this little monster can do a lot and delivers it all with a big load of attitude.

Use captures with the Ia input for a slightly brighter clean tone that get a bit fizzier when driven. Use captures with the ib input for a more round, punchy, robust tone and raunchy crunch when driven harder.
