As a way to greet the blooming spring and celebrate Easter, we made something very special for you. Here are dual amp captures matched to perfection.
Dual amp rigs and captures have the very unique character of naturally filtering out some of the fizzy frequencies, when blended right and accentuating the depth, detail and dynamics of the tone.
You get a bigger, more detailed, punchier tone without the fizz. It sounds cleaner than the individual amps are set, but retains the compression and sustain that comes with this.
These are without question some of the best tones we've managed to record and capture. I'm sure you will have a blast ;)
Easter Special II contains 5 full captures of a 1967 Fender Twin Reverb blended with a 1964 VOX AC30 Top Boost Super Twin. This along with the pairing with a Deluxe Reverb is one of the most coveted dual amp setups and is a bit more open and bigger sounding than the Deluxe Reverb pairing, where both amps have quite a bit more compression.
